Charles and Ray Eames

Charles Ormond Eames (1907–1978) and Bernice Alexandra "Ray" Kaiser Eames (1912–1988) were two of the most important and influential designers in post-war America. They created some of the most famous pieces of 20th century furniture, such as the Eames Lounge chair, Eames dining chair and the Eames Aluminum Group series (office chairs and conference chairs). Their designs are as popular today as they were in the last century.
